The Burkhardt company has been successfully run by a family for several generations. The village smithy in Mühlhausen, located in Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, was first mentioned in 1879 and has developed and grown continually to become a company with seven sites engaging in national and international business. The principle of our company mission has remained unchanged throughout all this time: customer satisfaction is the yardstick by which the quality of our products and services is measured. With our power engineering business segment, which has proven successful by developing and manufacturing innovative, wood pellet-operated combined heat and power plants and wood gasifiers, we make our own personal contribution to preserving the environment and to the European climate policy with "MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY".
