Container unit with V4.50 wood gasifier achieves first target
Since November 2021, we have been involved in the EU-funded "FRONTSH1P" project with our V4.50 wood gasifier, which will be put into operation initially in Italy and then Greece and Poland over the 4 years of the project.
In the second half of July this year, the Burkhardt V4.50 wood gasifier arrived at its first destination in Bolzano/Italy. To begin with, the gas flare was installed in front of the UNIBZ bioenergy and biofuel laboratories in the NOI Techpark. The container then had to be connected to the power supply and the internet.
At the end of September, the wood gasifier was initially put into operation by the Burkhardt company using standard wood pellets. For the coming project period, the wood gasifier is to be operated with pellets from waste wood.
