Burkhardt Dryline 8.30 sludge dryer
The assembly work in Michelstadt is almost complete.
Following the award of the contract at the turn of the year 2022/23 and almost 9 months of detailed engineering, assembly work on the sludge drying plant at the Michelstadt site began in mid-November 2023. During the planning phase, the production and assembly processes were optimised in addition to the process engineering design of the individual units and the 3D plant planning. During the first few weeks on the construction site in Michelstadt, the high level of detail during the engineering phase paid off: The dryer and peripheral plant components such as the heating and ventilation system, as well as the exhaust air treatment system, were delivered and installed within a very short space of time.
Burkhardt DRYLINE® - Symbiosis of the main Burkhardt divisions
The broad spectrum of Burkhardt's different business areas contributes significantly to the smooth installation of the system. With the trades of energy technology installation, heating, ventilation and plumbing, the relevant specialists in their field also carried out the respective installation steps. Much of the installation work will be completed this year so that the electrical installation can begin after the Christmas holidays. Commissioning of the facility is planned for spring 2024.
