Burkhardt technology attracts interest from Vietnam

As part of a bioenergy technology tour organised by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Burkhardt company was able to present its in-house developed wood gasifiers and CHP plants to a delegation from Vietnam. The 18 interested decision makers from south-east Asia gained extensive insights into the possibilities of using wood pellets to generate renewable heat and power from the Mühlhausen energy technology specialist.
Sales manager Claus Burkhardt expressed his satisfaction with the event: "The interest among our Vietnamese guests is very high and we already have experience with projects in the Asian region." Although he added that it was still necessary to check whether all the necessary conditions for market entry exist.
Burkhardt has been active in the field of renewable energies since 2004 and more than 250 "wood power plants" are currently successfully in operation worldwide. Among the most important sales markets are Germany, Italy, Austria, Slovenia and Japan.
